How to get to Kemputa Systems, Ysbyty Ystwyth, Ceredigion, SY25 6DG. Tel:01974282619. (but don't expect good mobile signal coverage.)

Unfortunately this is not easy, and most go wrong when first attempting to find us! (Sorry!)

1. Brief directions for a driver. (from anywhere)

Turn east off the B4343 in Ysbyty Ystwyth opposite 'Brynethyn Farm' 'L&G Forestry' wood yard gate, between a large white house and a cottage next to a church wall. Keep left at two 'Y' junctions and after 3/4 mile 'Pen-y-Gwaith' is a big grey house adjacent to the road on your left.

2. Detailed for a navigator, from Aberystwyth. Easiest to follow route using a map. Via Devil's Bridge.

Take the A4120 towards Devil's Bridge. About 200m beyond the boundary into Devil's bridge turn right on to the B4343 SP Pontrhydygroes/Tregaron. About 4 miles from Devil's Bridge follow it down a steep hill bearing left over a bridge and through Pontrhrydygroes. About a mile after this you will enter Ysbyty Ystwyth going up a hill. (Advice: If a Satnav tries to take you left before this then ignore it.) Proceed over the brow of this hill and pass a war memorial and a church wall on your left. Immediately after the church wall turn left, before a big White house, and opposite 'Brynethyn Farm' 'L&G Forestry'wood yard gate. Follow this road for about 3/4 mile, at 2 'Y' junctions on the way take the LEFT hand option. (If a Satnav working from post-code takes you right at one of these DEFINITELY ignore it.)

Pen-y-Gwaith is quite an imposing grey house as it is approached over the brow of a hill. A black wind turbine is in its grounds on the left, and an array of Solar panels may be seen on a hill just to the left of the house. The house itself is directly on the road on the left, but the car park is on the right just beyond green shipping containers. (The wind turbine has been visible on and off since before Pontrhydygroes was reached.)

GPS location:N52.329206 W3.847482.
Grid ref: SN 74201 71731
Ignore the words 'Ystrad Meurig' that occurs in the address. (This is simply another small village in the neighbourhood that historically once had a small postal sorting office.)

If after following satnav in Pontrhydygroes you find yourself going round a tight right hand steep uphill U bend followed by a steep single tracked hill, if the satnav is working from post-code it will probably take you right past the property anything up to a mile before it thinks you have reached your destination. See the black wind turbine, watch out for a polytunnel to your right, then the big grey house, up against the road, this time on your right. (Car park on left)

3. From Aberystwyth, using route via Aber-Magwr. Shorter, more favoured by navigation aids:-

(warning: Satnavs working from post code tend to mislead at end)

Leave Aberystwyth Southgate on B4340 sp Tregaron.
At Aber-Magwr turn left unclassified road sp Pontrhydygroes.
At Pontrhydygroes turn right over bridge. (sp on right: B4343 Pontrhydfendigaid Tregaron). Now as described in more detail above:-

Follow main road B4343 through Pontrhydygroes and up hill into Ysbyty Ystwyth
Immediately after church wall on left turn left unclassified road.

You have about 3/4 mile to go. At 2 Y junctions take left hand option. Property is imposing, visible after brow of hill. It is on the left, very adjacent to road, opposite shipping containers which are on the right. Park in front of shipping containers.

4. From the south (e.g. from Lampeter or Tregaron)

After having gone thought most of Pontrhydfendigaid on B4343, not far beyond entrance to village hall, turn right to keep on the B4343 sp Pontrhydygroes, Pontarfynach, Devil's Bridge. (This looks like 'straight on' on most maps, may only be 'bear right' on a satnav, but it is a definite right turn off the main Aberystwyth road which is sweeping left and changing into B4340).

Straight on through Ffair Rhos.

Immediately (30m) after entering Ysbyty Ystwyth (3.6 miles from Prontrhydfendigaid), go straight on past unclassified road on left & housing estate road on right. Then 70 meters beyond this turn right immediately past a large white house on the right. This is opposite a wood yard gate and before a (perfectly visible) church wall.

Then, as described above, follow this road for about 3/4 mile, at 2 'Y' junctions on the way take the LEFT hand option. (If a Satnav working from post-code takes you right at one of these DEFINITELY ignore it.) Property is imposing, visible after brow of hill. It is on the left, very adjacent to road, opposite shipping containers which are on the right. Park in front of shipping containers.
